In the northern coastline of Madeira you can find Santana, a great destination for nature lovers.
Its main attraction is the Theme Park, a wonderful place surrounded by nature, full of interesting species of plants and lots of fishes swimming in the creeks.
It is an actual adventure park perfect for families with children, as it offers interesting paths and a plenty of fun activities.
If you want to explore a wonderful natural area, you can surely opt for the Nature Reserve Rocha of Novio, whose waters are inhabited by monk seals.
There are different paths on high-altitude which will give you wonderful views, waterfalls and little villages.
With a cable car, you could also reach an enchanting quiet beach where it is possible to enjoy some relaxing time, far from the bustle of the city.
