Surf in Paul do Mar.
According to many surfers, the sea near the shores of Madeira Island is endowed with the best waves in the world.
Thanks to the excellent conditions and the mild climate throughout the whole year, surfing here is a rewarding experience both for the beginners and for the demanding surfers.
The former will have the chance to practice their skills on safe locations such as São Vicente or Porto da Cruz, which feature ideal conditions for learning; the latter will enjoy for sure the tubular waves of Paul do Mar, a well respected spot within the surf community.
